In the last three years, after opening the first official store in Portugal, in June 2019, the Xiaomi Store has now 18 commercial spaces and is preparing the next opening in Madeira. "In view of this great growth and all the dynamics associated with the Chinese brand's products, the Select Smart marketing team (the company responsible for managing the Xiaomi Store in Portugal) felt the need to replace its digital signage system. Among the best options on the market, Select Smart selected Amplitude Net's World VDS solution to achieve the simplicity and efficiency in content management that it wanted for the Xiaomi Store", explains the company, which now complements the management of the contents of individual screens by the same Amplitude Net software, in the contents of the locations associated with the existing videowalls.

"The great versatility of the Digital Signage World VDS solution once again demonstrated the ease of adapting the software to different contexts and conditions. One of the great challenges of the project was to make World VDS run natively on Xiaomi consumer TVs, not being necessary to purchase additional players to be associated with each TV", says Xiaomi.

The World VDS software was already the only multiplatform software in the world capable of running natively on professional screens of the main screen brands, as well as on the main operating systems that include the Raspberry PI. With this extension to Xiaomi's consumer screens, the software sees its already wide offer even more extended.

"This functionality allowed the project to invest much more and its installation simpler, since there is no longer the need to purchase minicomputers connected to the TV. This hardware elimination also leads to a reduction in project maintenance costs."

In addition to managing the contents of the screens, the software is also capable of managing the audios of the stores, allowing each equipment to be more profitable.
