Digital solution wants to optimize waiting times at Ageas stores

The Dinheiro Vivo newspaper published an article on September 1, 2022 about the adoption of the World VDS Digital Signage solution from Amplitude Net, by the AGEAS group, in order to manage its corporate TV content in the Group's new headquarters as well the Digital Signage content that appears on the screens and tablets assigned to its customers in stores.

Dinheiro Vivo is a daily digital newspaper on economic, financial and business matters, belonging to Grupo Bel, which brings together several companies with a recognized presence in the Portuguese and international market, such as TSF, DN, JN, O Jogo or Volta ao Mundo.

The article presented some of the innovative features of Amplitude Net's digital signage software, which were decisive for its selection.

Amplitude Net creates a personalized service for Ageas Portugal Group Customers

Amplitude Net created the World VDS Digital Signage, which will be used by around two million members of the insurance company in Portugal. The system will adjust the offer to the profile of each consumer.

The World VDS Digital Signage was born with the aim of optimizing the waiting time of Ageas insurance customers. This digital solution, created by Amplitude Net, was specially designed to improve the experience of the insurance company´s approximately two million customers, from the moment they enter its two new stores in Lisbon and Porto.

As Amplitude Net explains in a statement, "While waiting to be served, World VDS Digital Signage will adjust the service offer to the Customer, through an issue that meets their profile". That is, after being received by an Ageas employee when entering a store, the customer will receive a tablet, with information customized to their profile, where insurance suggestions and other relevant information from the Ageas Portugal Group are presented.

"The type of content presented can range from suggestions for greater insurance protection to relevant information from the Ageas Portugal Group. In this sense, the Customer receives personalized information even before being served, which allows optimizing their waiting time for the service" , explains César Areal, CEO of Amplitude Net.

The World VDS Digital Signage also incorporates a Corporate TV channel, comprising five screens per floor, four spread throughout the spaces and one in the elevator, and thus will be used for the presentation of broadcasts inside the new buildings.

The system is interactive and allows integration with other systems (queue, weather and news systems, among others). "The versatility of the World VDS Digital Signage was once again decisive in its selection by a leading company in Portugal, in an emblematic project, which will have a direct impact not only on the many Employees of the Ageas Portugal Group, as well as on its almost two million customers, who have at least one policy in force", guarantees the CEO of Amplitude Net.
